Addressing a media briefing on Monday, Air Marshal A.K. Bharti of the Indian Air Force said that India's fight is against terrorists, and it is sad that Pakistan decided to intervene. He made this remark in a joint press briefing of the three forces held in New Delhi on May 12, two days after the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan on May 10. Air Marshal A.K. Bharti said, 'This was a different kind of war and it was bound to happen. God forbid, but if there is another battle in the future, it will be completely different from the last. It is a cat and mouse game and we always have to be one step ahead of our adversary to defeat him.'

The three armies of India warned Pakistan in a joint press briefing that if it dares to do anything again, we can attack it whenever and wherever we want. Let us tell you that on 7 May, India launched Operation Sindoor, in which 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were targeted in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. The next two days, on the night of 8 and 9 May, Pakistan made an unsuccessful attempt to attack India with drones and missiles. With the help of its strong air defense system, India not only foiled every attack of Pakistan, but also put the enemy on the backfoot by accurately attacking 11 airbases. India's attacks were so accurate and effective that Pakistan had to appeal for ceasefire.
