Patna, Keeping in mind the safe and accessible travel of women in Patna, the capital of Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday started a special "Pink Bus Service". In the first phase, 20 pink buses have started running on 5 major routes. Only women passengers will get the benefit of this service, and only women conductors have been appointed in it.

Convenient travel for women:

In these buses, the safety of women has been given top priority. GPS tracking system, panic button, mobile charging facility and CCTV cameras have been installed on every seat. Also, the buses will be operated with environment-friendly CNG. 22 comfortable seats are available in each bus.

Travel fare:

To avoid financial burden on women, the fare has been kept starting from Rs 6 to a maximum of Rs 25. For example, a maximum of Rs 25 will be spent on a journey from Gandhi Maidan to Danapur Railway Station.
