Katni, rivers are in spate due to intermittent rains in Katni district and children are risking their lives by jumping into this raging river from 20-20 feet high bridges, a video of which is going viral on social media in which many children are seen jumping into the river one after the other. The viral video is said to be of the railway bridge located at Gutter Ghat in Katni district where about half a dozen children of the local area had reached to take bath but everyone is stunned to see their way of bathing because all these children climbed on the bridge built on Katni Damoh railway route and started jumping one after the other without any fear. Let us tell you that the bridge is about 35 feet high but due to the surge in water, its depth has become 15 feet deep and here children are seen jumping into it without caring for their lives. When Katni SDM Pradeep Mishra came to know about the whole matter, he said that the matter will be investigated and he has also said to give proper instructions to Municipal Corporation Katni and Kotwali Police.
