Katni, Kuthla police has solved the case of the murder of a dismissed policeman in village Jatwara on the night of 19 December in Kuthla police station area of ​​Katni. Katni Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan, while revealing this murder, said that they have succeeded in solving the blind murder case of dismissed constable Kamlesh Sharma, a resident of Patwara village in Kuthla police station area. Kuthla police has solved this blind murder in a single day and arrested the killer youth. Whose name is Battu alias Bablu Bhumiya. Katni Captain Abhijeet Ranjan said that on 20 December 2024, on receiving information about the body of a person found in village Jatwara, Kuthla police reached the spot where the deceased Kamlesh Sharma was beaten and seriously injured by an unknown person, which caused a sensation in the area. After which Kuthla police station in-charge inspector Abhishek Choubey along with his team interrogated the suspects. During interrogation, suspect Bittu alias Bablu told that on December 19 at 8 pm, the accused Bittu alias Bablu Bhumiya had a fight with the deceased dismissed police personnel Lala alias Kamlesh Sharma. Regarding this, when the deceased Kamlesh Sharma was sitting on the platform of the Shiva temple at around 11 pm, the accused went to the platform with a stick and killed him by continuously hitting him with the stick. Accused Bablu Bhumiya hid the blood-soaked stick and the clothes he was wearing at the time of the incident in his house, which has been seized by the police and the accused has been arrested. Katni SP Abhijeet Ranjan said that this blind murder was challenging for the police as the incident took place in village Jatwara in the middle of the settlement. The police solved it very intelligently. The murderer was a palledari by profession. The deceased was working as a police constable in Balaghat district but was dismissed due to some big mistake. Since then he was living in Jatwara village of Katni district. The police also said that the deceased Kamlesh alias Lala Sharma used to harass the villagers daily under the influence of alcohol and on the 19th also he had a dispute and abuse with the murderer youth Bablu Bhumiya, due to which the murderer youth Bablu Dahiya got angry and killed the dismissed police personnel by hitting him with a stick during the night.
