Anuppur, Superintendent of Police Motiur Rahman and Additional Superintendent of Police Israr Mansuri have issued instructions for the general public to celebrate New Year 2025 in a peaceful manner with joy and enthusiasm across the district. Special attention has been given to the safety of the general public for celebrating the celebrations. For which, under the direction of SP, Additional Superintendent of Police Israr Mansuri has instructed all the police station and outpost in-charges of the district to increase vigilance in their respective areas. Superintendent of Police Motiur Rahman has given instructions to police officers and employees on several points to take strict action against those who violate the rules during this period, including all the organizers to stop the programs organized by the stipulated time themselves, all the organizers to ensure the use of DJ and loudspeakers as per the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court and the government, strict legal action against drunk drivers and drivers driving at high speed by checking and patrolling at various places by the police on the eve of New Year, vigilance to be increased in crowded areas with the aim of controlling the hooliganism and activities done by mischievous elements after drinking alcohol in public places and roads, keeping a close watch on every activity of anti-social elements along with monitoring the hotels, restaurants, dhabas operating in the district on the occasion of New Year, ensuring compliance of the prescribed parameters by obtaining permission from the concerned executive magistrate in advance in relation to any event, along with not paying attention to rumors on the occasion of New Year and if any rumor spreads, then immediately inform the police about it. He has told that the police is keeping a close watch on social media. Strict action will be taken against those who carry out anti-social activities under the guise of New Year. SP Motiur Rahman has appealed that along with maintaining peace in the district, the organizers should cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order. If any person is found violating the rules, action will be taken.
