However, the flag hoisting ceremony was going on at the police station at that time, due to which they had to wait to register an FIR. According to the information received, on Thursday, after the flag hoisting ceremony on the occasion of Independence Day in the Murar High School campus, some children standing outside the main gate were asking for sweets from the teachers, but the teachers were reluctant by saying that they were non-students. The children started creating a ruckus on the main road. As soon as the information was received, the Murar police reached the spot and pacified the angry children by explaining to them. After some time, the teachers were returning to their homes. Meanwhile, on Koran Sarai-Bagan main road, the alleged students surrounded a teacher named Pankaj Kumar and started abusing and beating him, by then many other teachers reached from behind. From there, some teachers reached Murar police station to lodge a complaint, but the flag hoisting ceremony was going on here and after informing the police about it, the teachers changed their route and reached their homes. Some children present on the spot alleged that earlier in this school, both students and non-students used to get sweets, and due to this people come, but on Thursday, on Independence Day, when the children were asking for sweets, the teachers misbehaved. However, the headmaster Sushil Kumar said that this story is fabricated.
