Patna, today is the second day of Bihar Business Connect 2024. 850 representatives of companies from India and abroad have come to the two-day Global Business Investors Summit. Today more than 350 companies are going to sign MoU with the Bihar government. Through this summit, an investment of about one lakh crore is going to be made in Bihar. These include companies from cement, footwear, tech, ethanol and other sectors. In the Global Investor Summit, more than 40 companies have shown interest in investing Rs 4000 crore in the IT sector. Also, Sun Petrochemicals will invest in a project worth 20 thousand crores. This is the biggest investment so far. At the same time, Government of India's PSU NHPC and SJVN are going to invest in a project worth 5500 crores. Here, iPhone assembly company Foxconn has also expressed interest in investing in Bihar. This company can sign MoU today.

These IT companies signed MoU

Here, since the implementation of Bihar IT Policy, 2024, more and more national and international companies are excited about investing in the state. On the first day of the two-day investor conference held in Patna, many companies including Jayshree Technologies (Helloware), Superseva, Excel Dot, ABPL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IT Department. Computers, laptops, drones and solar panels will be manufactured in Bihar.

In the Global Investors Summit organized in the name of Bihar Business Connect 2024, Industry Minister Nitish Mishra and Secretary Bandana Preyasi have taken charge of the government. On Friday, many big companies are going to sign MoUs. The names of the companies that are likely so far include Sun Petro Chemical, Adani Group, Avon, CAMPA, Ankur Biochem, Foxcom, Captain Steel, Shri Cement, Bangur Cement, JK Cement, Dalmia Cement, Birla Cement, Supreme Plastic, Lahar Footwear etc.
