Lalbarra, Lalbarra Police has arrested a youth for molesting a minor 17-year-old girl. According to the information received, on 22.08.24, the 17-year-old victim had gone to fetch water from a hand pump in the village where on the way, the accused Jitendra Kavade tried to talk to her with bad intentions and also threatened to kill the victim's parents who had come to the spot. When the victim reported the matter to Lalbarra police station, a case was registered against the accused under Crime No. Case registered under section 392/2024 – 74,75,296,351(2)BNS, 7,8 POCSO Act.

On the other hand, Balaghat Superintendent of Police Mr. Nagendra Singh has directed all the station in-charges to arrest the accused immediately due to the sensitivity of crimes against women.

Due to which, the station in-charge Lalbarra and his team, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Vijay Dabar and Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Waraseoni, have succeeded in arresting the absconding accused Jitendra Kavade. Who has been sent to jail by the Hon. Court after presenting him for judicial remand after police interrogation.

On the other hand, Jitendra father Shyamrao Kavade caste Sonar age 28 years resident of Ward No. 02 Amoli Police Station Lalbarra has been arrested.

In the above action, the main praiseworthy role has been played by Inspector Hemant Nayak, Police Station Incharge, Inspector Vaishali Uike, R. Sheshram Bakde, R. Radheshyam Baghel and all other employees.
