New Delhi. India's astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has become the 634th astronaut to travel to space. Apart from this, he is the second Indian to travel to space. At the same time, PM Modi spoke to Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla on Saturday. Its picture has also surfaced. This information has been given by the Prime Minister's Office. "This journey is the journey of the whole country"
Talking to Shubhanshu Shukla, PM Modi said, "There is Shubh in your name and your journey is also the auspicious beginning of a new era. I give you my heartiest congratulations and best wishes for waving India's flag in space." Shubhanshu Shukla said, "I am absolutely fine here, I am feeling absolutely new. This is not just my journey but the journey of the country. We see sunset 16 times and sunrise 16 times a day. We are moving at a speed of 28 thousand kilometers per hour. This speed shows how our country is moving forward. The earth looks completely one from space. No boundary line is visible from here. When we saw India for the first time, India really looks very grand from here, it is much bigger than what we see on the map."
"This mission is the first step in India's race"
PM Modi said - "You are the first Indian to go to the space station, how are the conditions there?" On this, Shubhanshu Shukla said, "Everything is different here. I have tied my legs, otherwise I would have gone up. Here you can sleep anywhere. India is running and this mission is the first step in that race. We will also have a station in space." Giving a message to the young generation of India, Shubhanshu Shukla said, "We have seen very high dreams about the direction in which India is going. There is no single path to success, but one thing is common on every path that you should never give up trying."
PM Modi gave homework to Shubhanshu Shukla
PM Modi said that we have to take Mission Gaganyaan forward, we have to build our own space station, we also have to land Indian astronauts on the moon. Your experience is going to be very useful in all these missions. I am sure that you will be recording your experiences there. On this, Shubhanshu Shukla said, "I am absorbing every experience gained here like a sponge. These experiences will be very important for us. We will be able to use these experiences in our mission and will be able to complete our mission as soon as possible."
"India will not just fly, it will prepare the platform for new flights"
PM Modi said, "Today I can say with confidence that this is the first chapter of the success of India's Gaganyaan mission. This historic journey of yours is not limited to space only. It will give fast speed and new strength to our journey of developed India. India is going to open the doors of new space possibilities for the world. Now India will not only fly but will also prepare the platform for new flights in the future."
