Shajapur, on Janmashtami, Shri Krishna Janmotsav was celebrated with great pomp in the temples of the city at 12 o'clock in the night. On the second day, Nand Mahotsav was celebrated with great pomp. On Tuesday, Nand Mahotsav was celebrated in Govardhannath Haveli temple located in Somvariya Bazaar of the city, Dwarkadhish temple, Radha Krishna temple located in Wazirpura, Gurudwara and other Krishna temples. On this occasion, the Lord was beautifully decorated with flowers. On the other hand, Shri Krishna Janmotsav was celebrated with great pomp in Gayatri Public School Pindonia. During this, school children won everyone's heart by wearing the dress of Radha, Krishna, Sudama, Balram etc. School girl Aarohi Makwana broke the pot filled with curd by becoming Shri Krishna. After that chocolates were distributed to all the children. On this occasion, school teacher Lakshmi, Shabnam, Khushboo, Neha, Monica, Hansa and students were present.
