Muzaffarnagar | Meerapur, RLD MP Chandan Singh Chauhan today claimed that the victory of the RLD candidate is certain in the upcoming by-election of Meerapur assembly. He said that Meerapur is such a seat on which his grandfather Chaudhary Narayan Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, father Sanjay Chauhan and he himself have been elected MLAs. He said that he was an MLA from Meerapur at the time of the Lok Sabha elections. He resigned from the assembly after being elected MP. By-election is likely to be held in November. RLD has influence on this seat and his own family also has a strong support base. Party President and Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary will select the candidate. If Yashika Chauhan is given a chance, then BJP-RLD will fight the election together with full strength and there is no reason why Yashika Chauhan should not win the election with a huge margin. Chandan Chauhan said that he is continuously touring his parliamentary constituency and meets thousands of people and listens to their problems and tries to find solutions.
