Saharanpur, A review meeting of International Yoga Day, CM Dashboard, tax and revenue works was convened in the Circuit House auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai. Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai said that Yoga Week will be celebrated from 15 to 21 June. On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day on 21 June, mass yoga practice programs will be organized. He said that the theme of this year by the Government of India is Yoga for One Earth One Health. He directed that Yoga Week and International Yoga Day should be celebrated with fervor in the division. Yoga programs should be organized with enthusiasm at Amrit Sarovar in rural areas, all educational institutions, famous religious places, industrial establishments. A rally should be organized on 15 June for Yoga Week. Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai directed the Electricity Department to coordinate with the NEDA department and ensure the successful implementation of the PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme. He directed that strict action should be taken against those who deliberately make erroneous electricity bills by identifying them. He gave strict instructions that quality disposal of complaints should be ensured within the time limit without keeping the cases pending on the IGRS portal. He said that no stone should be left unturned to achieve the highest position in the ranking of the three districts of the division. Ensure bringing the scheme to a higher category by monitoring the success stories of the districts which are ahead in the schemes. Raman Kant of the Indian River Council discussed the study status of the rivers of the division and their improvement through PPT. Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai directed to prepare a village-wise DPR by surveying the villages situated on the banks of Hindon for cleaning and restoration of the Hindon River. For this, micro level planning should be done and Panchayati Raj institutions should come forward. Through this PPT, the importance of rivers was marked and their religious, economic and spiritual importance was made known. The maximum use of water of these rivers was discussed. During the review of revenue works of tax and non-tax revenue task force, progress of consolidation works and disputes, instructions were given to seek explanation from the Excise Department officer for being absent in the meeting. Expressing displeasure over low revenue collection in the mining department in Shamli and Muzaffarnagar, instructions were given to install CCTV cameras on the roads of all mining areas of the division. He instructed that strict action should be taken against land mafias. He instructed the Transport Department to hold road safety related meetings on time. Answers should be sought from officers with poor progress in settlement of disputes under ZLR Act. All departments should speed up the recovery of RC. Illegal encroachments should be removed from pastures and government land. Long pending consolidation works should be resolved quickly. District Magistrate Shamli Arvind Kumar Chauhan, who joined the meeting virtually, suggested holding a meeting of bankers and vendors with the administration to improve the PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme.
