Lalu Yadav gets a big shock even before voting
The court stopped his close aide Subhash Yadav from contesting the election
Patna High Court on Thursday withdrew its order in which the court had allowed Subhash Yadav, a sand trader and a close aide of Lalu family, lodged in Beur jail in Patna, to file nomination from Koderma assembly seat. While hearing the writ petition of Subhash Yadav, the single bench of Justice Arvind Singh Chandel raised objection that the petition has been filed without making ED a party. While withdrawing its own order, the court said that the order of October 22 has been passed without hearing ED, a party in this case, hence the order is withdrawn.
The court had given this order
After Subhash Yadav was made a candidate from Koderma seat by RJD, Subhash Yadav, who is in jail, had filed a petition in Patna High Court seeking permission to file nomination. Hearing the petition of Subhash Yadav, Patna High Court had ordered the police to present Subhash Yadav before the Returning Officer of Koderma on October 22 for filing nomination and said that the petitioner will go to Koderma from Beur Jail in Patna for nomination at his own expense. After this order, yesterday on Thursday, Subhash Yadav wearing handcuffs went to Koderma and filed his nomination and also attended a meeting with Tejashwi Yadav while wearing handcuffs. However, handcuffs were not seen on his hands at the time of nomination. Opponents are also raising questions on Subhash Yadav's participation in the meeting.
ED filed application
In fact, after the decision to allow nomination, the state government and ED filed an application in the court and told the High Court that the petitioner Subhash Yadav is arrested in the ED case and an order has been taken from the court to file nomination without making ED a party. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, yesterday the court withdrew its earlier order and ordered the applicant to make ED a party. On March 9 this year, ED raided the house of Lalu's close aide Subhash Yadav and many other places on charges of illegal sand trade. Rs 2 crore was recovered from the house during the raid, after a day-long raid, ED arrested Subhash Yadav late at night.
JDU leader targeted
ED raided 6 places of Subhash Yadav for 14 hours. This action was taken against him in a case related to illegal sand trade. Subhash Yadav is the director of Broadson Construction Private Limited Company and has been close to Lalu Yadav. Amidst the uncertainty over Subhash Yadav contesting the elections, his wife Lalita Devi has bought the nomination form from Koderma. If RJD candidate Subhash Yadav's nomination is cancelled, it is believed that in such a situation his wife can be a candidate from Koderma. Now politics has also started regarding RJD's decision to give ticket to Subhash Yadav. JDU leader Neeraj Kumar said that Tejashwi Yadav has set a new example. A person (Subhash Yadav) sitting in Patna jail was given ticket from Koderma. They have made a mockery of parliamentary democracy. Now whenever you ask questions, the public will question you
