Journey from struggle to success

People used to taunt Khushboo Devi, who was once dependent on others for every grain, but she did not give up. In the year 2009, she started making mosquito nets. In the year 2013, she joined the "Ganga Group" of Jeevika organization, from where she got the opportunity to take her business forward. She gave a new dimension to her business by getting assistance of Rs 2,67,000 from the incubation fund of Jeevika Group.

Making hundreds of women self-reliant
Khushboo Devi established her "Pratigya mosquito net" production unit, where 62 women have got employment so far. Under her leadership, hundreds of mosquito nets are being prepared every day, which are sent across the country. Due to her efforts, the women of her village Rasulpur (Rupwara Panchayat, Madwan Block, Muzaffarpur) are also moving towards self-reliance.
The government also honored her
Seeing her hard work and success, the central government invited her as a panelist in the "Gram Samridhi Karyakramya". In this workshop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself interacted with her through video conferencing and praised her as "Lakhpati Didi".
