On Monday, on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, similar tunes were heard in the city's Shri Krishna temples from morning till late night. At the same time, the birth anniversary of Sudarshandhari Lord Krishna, who is adept in sixteen arts and 64 sciences, was celebrated traditionally and cheerfully in the temples. During this time, there was an atmosphere of tremendous enthusiasm in the entire area. It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of Janmashtami, devotees started arriving in the temples of Leeladhar Shri Krishna for darshan from early morning and this process continued till night. Along with this, the devotees did special decoration of Shyam Sundar Shri Krishna and worshipped him. In this episode, attractive decorations were done in various Krishna temples of the city. It is worth noting that the celebration of Lord Krishna's birth anniversary was celebrated in the entire city and devotees were seen immersed in the devotion of Shri Krishna from morning till night. Worship was done in Radha Krishna temple located in Wazirpura, Dwarkadhish temple, Chaturbhuj temple, Shri Krishna temple located in Gurudwara, temple located in Khajanchi temple, Rathore Dharamshala Krishna temple and other temples. Matki breaking program was also organized at night. In the Gurudwara located in Wazirpura, the Abhishek of Bal Gopal took place in the morning. After that Radha Krishna was decorated. At the same time, the birth anniversary of Murlidhar was celebrated by cutting the cake at 12 o'clock at night. This year the festival of Janmashtami was also celebrated with great pomp in schools.

On the instructions of the state government and Collector Riju Bafna, the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in various government and non-government institutions of Shajapur district. On Janmashtami, various cultural programs, yoga, lectures were organized in the government and non-government institutions and schools of the district. In cultural programs, breaking the butter pot, impersonating Shri Krishna Radha, Shri Krishna-Radha tableau etc. were organized. People representatives, heads of institutions, teachers and children participated in the programs. The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was also celebrated in Government Utkrisht Uttam Uttam Vidyalaya. During this, teachers informed the students about the incidents related to the life of Lord Krishna. On this occasion, cultural programs related to his teachings were presented along with the tableau of Krishna Janmotsav.
