Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad Shajapur organised a district level lecture series programme at Pandit Balkrishna Sharma Naveen Mahavidyalaya Shajapur to propagate the life and thoughts of Maharishi Arvind on his birth anniversary. The programme organised on Sunday was inaugurated by lighting a lamp in front of the pictures of Lord Krishna, Bharat Mata and Maharishi Arvind ji. After this, the guests were welcomed with a bouquet and garland. The programme was presided over by District Panchayat President Hemraj Singh Sisodia. Vibhas Upadhyay, Shivprasad Malviya, Principal Vidyashankar Vibhuti, Anand Mohan Pandya, Vishnuprasad Nagar, Basant Rawat, Dhansingh Dhangar and Seema Bandwal were present as the keynote speakers. During this, District Coordinator Vishnu Prasad Nagar, while giving the outline of the program, said that the council organizes birth anniversaries of 5 great men in a year. While telling about the life of Arvind ji, he said that he was a yogi and philosopher. He was born on 15 August 1872 in Calcutta, his father was a doctor. In his youth, he participated as a revolutionary in the freedom struggle. Vibhas Upadhyay told and described the life of Arvind ji in detail and said that most people in our country know Maharishi Arvind ji as Maharishi only. They only know that Arvind ji had achieved invaluable siddhis through the practice of yoga even in today's scientific age. This perception of people regarding Arvind ji is not false, but in his early life Arvind ji was something else apart from being a yoga practitioner. District Panchayat Chairman Sisodia, while encouraging the workers of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, said that the workers of Jan Abhiyan Parishad are always working with honesty, due to which the society is getting new strength. After this, Shiv Prasad Malviya and Anand Mohan Pandya gave a detailed description of Arvind ji's life and his efforts.
