Purnia, late at night a drunk youth crushed 11 people with a pickup vehicle in which 6 people died, while 5 people are seriously injured. The incident took place in Dhokwa village of Dhamdaha police station. Jyotish Thakur, Akhilesh Kumar, Manisha Kumari, Shalu Kumari, Pinky Devi and a child of one-three years have died. It is also being reported that the accused has carried out this incident deliberately. At present the matter is under investigation. However, the police have confirmed five deaths so far.

Regarding the incident, the family members of the deceased told that Sonu Kumar was drunk on smoke and in the evening he had a dispute in the village itself. After this, he also went to the ward member for Panchayat. The ward member explained to him and sent him back. At around 11:00 in the night, drunk Sonu took out his pickup vehicle and crushed 11 people standing on the road.

Two women and a child are also involved in this incident. As soon as the information was received, the police of Dhamdaha police station reached the spot and sent all the injured and dead to GMCH. At present, Sonu is said to be absconding. At the same time, the police station in-charge has confirmed the death of five people. After the incident, the family members are crying.
