Whenever a woman steps out of her house to earn her livelihood, the success achieved through hard work and self-confidence is not digested by people in our male-dominated country because of extreme jealousy. And to top it all, despite being in top positions in efficient management, it is not easy to successfully perform duties during the service period without any blemish. But low-level politics formed a gang before retirement of a woman serving in the only government educational institution of the division and declared her tainted. While this woman, as an example of Nari Shakti, continuously performed her responsibilities whether it was a matter of benefiting the students from the schemes run by the government in the field of education or keeping the students updated with the progressive modernization of GDC. But the intention of the people frustrated by all these things is to tarnish the image of a morally strong woman in any way. Shahdol, the continuous round of complaints in the Government Indira Gandhi Home Science Girls Post Graduate College located at the district headquarters came to a halt after the High Court took cognizance, due to which once again Usha Neelam, the Principal of GDC, has taken charge. It is worth noting that on 24 August 2023, the 6-member Jan Bhagidari Guest Scholars wrote a typewritten complaint letter to the then Collector Vandana Vaidya, citing the illegal expenditure of Rs 13 crore and the benefit given to the favourites by Principal Usha Neelam, and asked for action for suspension, in which allegations were made without evidence in the initial letter itself. Possibly under political pressure or for other reasons, the Collector started an inquiry on the basis of this letter. While the complainants had not attached any evidence related to irregularities and corruption in the written letter, despite this, the matter related to baseless serious crime was blown out of proportion. The High Court said.............
In this case, the Principal was unnecessarily harassed from all sides, ultimately the Principal Usha Neelam had to approach the High Court, in the recent hearing of the court it was said that under the order dated 28.05.2024, the state was given time to file a reply, it is clear that if the reply is not filed on or before the next date of hearing, interim relief will be considered. The reply has not been filed yet, the state has been given additional time of four weeks to file the reply. In this case, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner says that the order of suspension was issued on 30.01.2024 and the charge sheet is though dated 29.04.2024 but sent on 11.05.2024 i.e. after the limitation period prescribed for issuing the charge sheet, hence the order of suspension will be quashed. In view of the above, it is directed that the order dated 30.01.2024 (Annexure-P/L) under which the petitioner has been suspended shall remain in force till the next date of hearing. Clarifying in the order of interim order dated 26.08.2024, issue the list, approved today, the petitioner will be reinstated in service and will be allowed, to perform duties on the post he is originally holding, till the next date.

Actually, women in Shahdol are victims of politics that obstructs every work in Shahdol district. During the tenure of former Vice Chancellor of Shahdol, Mukesh Tiwari, Pandit Shambhunath Vishwavidyalaya of Shahdol was discussed from the Speaker of the Assembly to the Chief Minister's office. It is well known that after holding big posts, working under a female principal can hurt anyone's ego. According to the information received from sources, the same story is here too. Otherwise how could eleven years be made 13 years and an arbitrary amount of thirteen crores be spent in the head of about four and a half crore rupees. It is also being speculated that the gang which fabricated the allegations had done poor homework due to which the case could not stand in the High Court.
Those familiar with the matter also tell that if the allegations made in the letter from the complaint to the order are investigated then many complications in the case can cause sleepless nights to the complainants who made the allegations. Without documents, nearly eleven months of the children and the Principal of Government Indira Gandhi Home Science Girls Post Graduate College were wasted that too when the Principal was just a few days away from retirement.
