A BJP minister has given a controversial statement about Colonel Sofia Qureshi, who presented the picture of the valor of the army in Operation Sindoor to the country and the world. Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Vijay Shah called Sofia Qureshi the 'sister of Pakistanis and terrorists'. Union minister Savitri Thakur and MLA Usha Thakur were also present with him on the stage.

During a program organized in the Panchayat of Manpur in Mhow on Monday, minister Vijay Shah lashed out at Pakistan. He was getting a lot of applause by making verbal attacks on the neighboring country. Perhaps even the minister did not understand when he crossed the line while throwing punches after punches at Pakistan. He called Sofia Qureshi, who came into the news due to Operation Sindoor, 'sister of Pakistanis and terrorists' several times.

Without naming Sofia Qureshi, the minister said, "We sent their sisters to those (Pakistani terrorists) who had destroyed the vermilion of our daughters. They killed our Hindus by removing their clothes and Modi ji sent their sister to their house to beat them up. Modi ji could not remove their clothes, so he sent the sister of their community saying that you have made our sisters widows, the sister of your community will come and leave you naked."

The video of the brave and capable military officer of the country being linked with Pakistanis and terrorists because of being a Muslim is going viral rapidly. Social media users are criticizing the minister's statement. Minister Vijay Shah also made objectionable comments on Congress while referring to S400 missiles. He said, "If there was no S400, all the missiles would have fallen on the cities and our children would have died. Our army camps would have been destroyed. If Congress people ever come to your village, ask them why they did not bring S400. Hey, your government was in power after the country got independence, your fathers' government was in power for 60-56 years. This is what our Modi ji brought in 2018.'

Congress furious over minister's statement, demand for dismissal

Congress spokesperson in Madhya Pradesh Shailendra Patel raised objection to Vijay Shah's statement and questioned PM Modi. He said, 'Minister Vijay Shah in the Madhya Pradesh government is making objectionable comments on Colonel Sofia Qureshi, he has called the brave daughter of the country 'sister of Pakistanis'. Narendra Modi ji got the country's daughter to hold a press conference so that his minister and his leaders call her the sister of terrorists from public platforms and make obscene statements against her and the BJP people clap. Prime Minister ji, your and your party's nationalism is hollow, if you have even a little patriotism left in you, then dismiss your minister and file an FIR against him for treason, such shameless and shameless people have no place in the country.'
