Deoband (Saharanpur). District Magistrate Manish Bansal has taken immediate action and ordered to register an FIR in the case of illegal deed and illegal madrasa construction on Waqf property in Deoband. District Magistrate Manish Bansal has taken this action on the complaint of former Bajrang Dal state convenor Vikas Tyagi. The District Magistrate was told in the complaint that illegal deed was being done on Khasra number 381 of Deoband tehsil, which is registered under the Waqf Board as a cemetery, and construction of a madrasa was also proposed there. After investigation it became clear that the sale or transfer of Waqf property is illegal. In the complaint, illegal sale of land of Khasra number 381 was done by Raees Ahmed, which was declared invalid by the district administration. District Magistrate Manish Bansal has directed the Minority Welfare Officer to register an FIR. Along with this, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Dr. Archana Dwivedi has been asked to ensure thorough investigation and action in the case under Anti Land Mafia Task Force. Mr. Bansal has also instructed all the Sub-District Magistrates that there should be no negligence in matters related to Waqf property and action should be taken immediately on complaints. This step is being considered a strong message against illegal encroachments and deeds on Waqf properties in the area.
