Keeping in mind 26 January i.e. 76th Republic Day, DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) i.e. Delhi Metro has issued its advisory. Metro operations will start from 3 am on 26 January 2025 (Sunday). Due to the grand parade and Republic Day program organized at Kartavya Path in Delhi, the metro will start running from 3 am on all lines on Sunday for those traveling to attend the program.

Trains will run at an interval of 30 minutes from 3 am to 6 am and thereafter at regular intervals. In a post on , Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said, 'As the nation is celebrating the pride and spirit of Republic Day, Delhi Metro will start its services at 3:00 am on all lines on 26 January 2025 (Sunday). To help people reach Kartavya Path and watch the Republic Day celebrations. To ensure smooth travel for passengers, trains will run at an interval of 30 minutes till 6:00 am, after which regular timings will be followed for the rest of the day. Passengers are encouraged to plan their journey accordingly and use early metro services to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.'

Traffic advisory

In another post, the DMRC said that enhanced security checks will be conducted at all metro stations till January 27, 2025. Apart from this, the Delhi Traffic Police also issued a traffic advisory for Republic Day, banning entry to certain areas in view of the parade and other events. According to the advisory, there will be a ceremony at the National War Memorial, India Gate at 9.30 am, followed by the Republic Day parade, which will start at 10.30 am and go up to the Red Fort.
