Damoh, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochhar took a surprise inspection of the district hospital this morning. He visited various wards of the district hospital and saw the arrangements and expressed satisfaction. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochhar told the doctors that maximum facilities should be made available to the patients, especially the patients coming from outside should get better treatment facilities. On this occasion, Deputy Collector Saurabh Gandharva, Civil Surgeon Dr Rajesh Namdev, RMO Dr Vishal Shukla and other medical teams were present.
The Collector said that this was my first inspection of the district hospital. Have visited all the wards and all the facilities along with civil surgeon and doctors, found many arrangements good and satisfactory. Necessary instructions have been given where there is scope for improvement and this will be continuously monitored. He said that our effort will be that as a team we bring big changes here, the changes should be such that the people who come here from the entire district can get maximum facilities and better treatment arrangements, this is our objective. And we will work towards this.
The Collector said that the newborn baby was found, all the statements about him have already come officially that he was not a patient of our place. Later, according to the proper protocol, his last rites and everything else were done through the police. Doctors were told that there was CCTV near the dustbin. Measures have been put in place to prevent such incidents and instructions have been given to ensure that we remain constantly alert so that such things do not happen again.
