Damoh, The main objective of the project "Safe Bhog" of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Government of India (FSSAI) is to provide pure and safe Prasad and food to the devotees at various religious pilgrimage sites / places of worship in India. Bhog means "joyful and clean offering to God". Under this, it is mandatory for the Prasad and food distributed in all the places of worship and the food establishments near it to obtain food license under food safety. It is necessary to follow various provisions under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 at these places.

Under the instructions given by Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar, D.O. has issued a certificate for providing pure and safe Prasad and food at various religious places located in Damoh district. Under the guidance of Food Safety Administration Rakesh Ahirwal, with the help of Food Safety Officer Madhavi Budhauliya, Shri Dev Janaki Radha Raman Bunda Bahu Mandir located at Ghantaghar in Damoh city and Shri Jhulelal Mandir located at Sindhi Camp were selected for Safe Bhog certification. FSSAI has issued Safe Bhog Certificate to Shri Dev Janaki Radha Raman Bunda Bahu Mandir and Shri Jhulelal Mandir as per the audit report submitted by the Central Auditor. The said certificate will be valid from 29 February 2024 to 28 February 2026. Earlier in the year 2020, the Bhojanshala of Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Mandir located in Kundalpur has received the Safe Bhog Certificate and in the year 2023, Shri Shiv Shani Hanuman Mandir located on Jail Road and Shri Sai Mandir located near Bela Lake have received the Safe Bhog Certificate. The auditing partner in the certification process of the above certificate is Hasil Board, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, training partner is Aroma Education and Service Committee and implementation partner is Food Safety Administration Damoh, Madhya Pradesh.
