Katni, Katni's Janpad Panchayat president along with her members and supporters tied a buffalo in front of the office and sat on dharna and staged a unique protest. The supporters sitting on the dharna were seen demonstrating without playing any flute in front of the buffalo.
Janpad Panchayat president Geeta Bai sitting on the dharna alleged that the district officials and employees do not listen to her at all, she also alleged that the assistant engineer here is doing a lot of corruption in the construction work of SK Khurd Gram Panchayat. They should be suspended immediately. District Panchayat President Geeta Bai and her members and supporters told that the Assistant Engineer SK Khurd is continuously rigging the construction works of the Panchayat, whatever construction work has been done in the Gram Panchayats till now, its quality has been found to be lacking, for investigation, a letter was written by them to the Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Katni, but in the investigation team itself, Assistant Engineer SK Khurd was made the investigation officer, but till date all the investigation reports given by SK Khurd were wrong. When District Panchayat President Geeta Bai asked for the investigation report of all these, the officials of the District Panchayat did not give her the report saying that the investigation report is a secret document, so the investigation report cannot be given to her. Angered by all this, District Panchayat President Geeta Bai was seen doing a unique demonstration by tying a buffalo in front of the office with her members and supporters and sat on a dharna for the immediate suspension of Assistant Engineer SK Khurd in the construction work of the Gram Panchayata.
