Jagdalpur, Chitrakot assembly MLA Vinayak Goyal has shown his strong allegiance against nepotism by sending a letter to BJP district president Vedprakash Pandey. He has requested in the letter that his wife should not be nominated by the party in the elections from district panchayat area number-10.
MLA Goyal said in the letter, "My wife has been performing the responsibility of the post of Sarpanch of Tekameta and the party gave me a ticket in the assembly elections, after which I am serving the area as an MLA. My family has full support in this work. However, we do not want to promote a nepotism tradition like Congress."
MLA Goyal also said, "Former MLA Deepak Baij is fielding his entire family in the elections, but we do not want to adopt such a tradition. I am a common party worker and I request that this support be given to some other active BJP worker. This will maintain the faith of those workers in the party, who are engaged in serving the party with their heart and soul." Through this letter, he gave the message to the party leadership that BJP always gives priority to the hard work and dedication of its active workers, and it does not want to promote any kind of nepotism. This statement of MLA Goyal is being praised not only in BJP but also in Congress.
