Motihari, voting is to be held in Motihari in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections, but before that the police has seized a big consignment of liquor during vehicle checking. The police of Sugauli police station has taken this action at Chapwa Chowk.

Sugauli police has recovered 1385 liters of liquor from a pickup van. The police had received secret information that a liquor businessman is coming from Bettiah with a consignment of foreign liquor in a fruit carton. As soon as the information was received, the police started checking vehicles at Chapwa check post. During this time, this consignment of liquor was seized from a pickup van loaded with fruits.

The fruit was kept in the carton on the side of the pickup and the next carton was loaded with foreign liquor. The police has seized the van and is interrogating a person after taking him into custody. The police has recovered 1385 liters of foreign liquor from the pickup. At present, the police has started further action.
