Damoh, NITI Aayog Government of India is running a campaign in all aspiring districts and aspiring development blocks of the country from July 01, 2024, which is called Sampoorna Abhiyan. Aspirational district and aspirational development block or aspirational district and aspirational block are those which have been identified by the Government of India, where there was more backwardness at one time and after identifying it, work is being done on different development indices there, so that these districts can become leaders in the category of development and if we talk about our district, Damoh is also an aspiring district and Tendukheda block comes under the category of aspirational development block. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said this during a meeting held today regarding the Sampoorna Abhiyan. CEO District Panchayat Arpit Verma, CEO Janpad, NGOs and social institutions were present in the meeting. In the meeting, officials of Health Department, Education Department, Agriculture Department and Livelihood Mission prepared an action plan for 100% completion of 6 indicators by the Government of India.

The Collector said that NITI Aayog, Government of India has taken up a campaign from 01 July to 30 September 2024, which has been named Sampoorna Abhiyan, as the word itself suggests, Sampoorna means complete. They have given 6 different indicators and have expected that 100% beneficiaries should be benefited. He said that the ANC tests that are done inside health centers in the first trimester for pregnant women should be done for 100% of the women. Secondly, high blood pressure and hypertension should be checked, apart from this self-help groups should get credit linkage, apart from this pregnant women should get complete nutritious diet through Anganwadis which is called take home ration. There are different targets which have to be accomplished under this campaign.
