Shajapur, Till now the entry of children from school to college was done in the register, but now children will also register their attendance through biometric machines like government officials. For this, a machine has also been installed in Lead Naveen College of the city. At present, registration of children is being done in this and so far 100 children have been registered.

From September 1, the Higher Education Department had given instructions to install attendance of children in colleges with biometric machine, but due to delay in the process, this system could not be implemented till now. Now the machine has been installed in the college and the work of registration of children has also been started. The special thing about this machine is that it is not Aadhaar based, but registration of children can be done only by fingerprint and face. Due to which there is no need of children's base in it. According to the information received from the college, three to four more machines will be installed here.

One machine will be installed on 500 children

Arun Bodane of the college told that one machine is to be installed on 500 children in the college. Machines are coming for this. Now a machine has arrived, for which about 100 children have been registered so far. Work is underway for the remaining which will be completed soon. And the remaining machines have also left from Bhopal which will reach here by Wednesday.

Machines will be installed on the basis of how many children are coming

Mr. Bodane said that about 5500 children are enrolled in the college. According to these, about 10 machines are to be installed in the college, but depending on the number of children coming to the college, how many machines should be installed here. Sometimes 1000 children come here and sometimes the number remains half. Due to which at present 4 machines are to be installed here and if the number of children increases then the number of machines will be increased.
